9th October 2019 – Our client’s father, Mr O, was investigated by East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust at the end of 2013 because he was not well and coughing up blood. The investigations included x-rays, which unfortunately were not reported as suspicious for malignancy even though there was a clear ill-defined mass on the images.
10th July 2019 – Our client Mrs H from Canterbury gave birth to her second child in November 2013 at the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital (QEQM) in Margate and post birth a lobe of placenta was noted in the lower uterus.

1st July 2019 – Our Client Mrs T from East Kent had a kidney transplantation from her sister at Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital in May 2014. Unfortunately the transplantation failed due to errors made by a locum anesthetist both in the anesthetic room and during surgery. The donor kidney was removed and re-implanted during the operation because it was not well perfused and by the end Mrs T had been overloaded with fluid. Indeed her pupils were noted to have been fixed and dilated indicating brain injury.

1st July 2019 – Our client Mrs S from East Kent was under the care of a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon. She decided to have a right total ankle replacement in 2012 because her right ankle was significantly symptomatic and it was interfering with her day to day life.

1st June 2019 – Our client Mrs T from Whitstable suffered Deep Vein Thrombosis (“DVT”) shortly after giving birth on 8th July 2013.
