This morning our client ‘Lisa’ was featured on Radio Kent. Her claim for damages has just been settled for over £2,000,000. When pregnant with her third child, those treating Lisa, at the QEQM Hospital, Margate, Kent, failed to property heed appearances on her ante-natal scans which were indicative of disability and should have been investigated. Mr D was referred to the Queen Elizabeth Queen Mother Hospital, Margate by his GP in March 2008 following an episode of haematuria with left groin pain. The hospital took no action and as a result of this omission appropriate investigations were not undertaken and Mr D’s diagnosis of renal tumour was delayed by more than 2 years.Continue reading this article

Our client, a 37 year old man from Thanet, suffered a scaphoid fracture whilst playing football in June 2010. He attended on his GP a week later with a painful hand and wrist, but the GP’s examination was not detailed and he failed to diagnose (or even consider the diagnosis of) a scaphoid fracture.
