Fairweathers Solicitors is hugely supportive of AvMA and the work they do across the UK in campaigning to improve patient safety, reduce medical accidents and ensure access to justice.
We are, therefore, delighted to announce that our Assistant Solicitor Francesca Beach and our Paralegal Simran Deu are now fully trained volunteers for AvMA’s helpline, offering support and advice to callers. This involves a commitment from each of them of 2 hours a month.
Francesca commented:
‘Simran and I are extremely excited about this opportunity and look forward to helping as many people as possible, harnessing our legal and medical knowledge to offer practical solutions and help to callers. It is so important for the public to be able to access dependable, knowledgeable advice to ensure that medical failings don’t go unanswered’.
