Our Francesca Beach is currently taking part in Ride Africa which entails a 500km cycle across Kenya from Nairobi to Mombasa. Over 5 days the group will cycle through national parks and mountains, cycling up to 125km a day with pretty steep climbs along the way.
The reason behind the cycle is the incredible charity CHILD.org – this charity is pivotal for many families in Kenya and has helped better the lives of mothers and babies in a region where 1 in 26 babies don’t make it to their first birthday.
The team at Fairweathers Solicitors wish Francesca the best of luck with this challenge.
All donations raised will be going towards running pregnancy support groups in rural and hard to reach areas, arming mothers with lifesaving information, connecting at risk mothers with medical services and aiding their advocacy with local government for improved quality of maternal healthcare.
