In brief

I work part time as the Firm’s Account’s Manager and became a member of the LLP in August 2016. I work alongside my husband, Nick, who is CEO, and my sister, Abigail, who is the Financial Controller.

Previously

I started working for Fairweathers in December 2007 as an Accounts Assistant.

Over the years, my working hours and responsibilities have increased to now becoming the Accounts Manager.

Prior to Fairweathers, I worked in recruitment and personnel for William Hill the Bookmakers for many years until I left in 1997 to start a family.

Currently

I am responsible for the day to day financial operation of the LLP and HR management.

I am the firm’s Anti-Money Laundering Officer.

Most importantly, I am the firm’s Entertainment Secretary and responsible for planning the social events such as the annual firm’s Christmas Party and organising the Christmas Card!

When I’m not in the office

I have 3 grown up children who no longer need me around much at home anymore! This means I have more time to spend working as a hairdresser from my salon based at home. I qualified in 2008 after attending an evening college course for 2 years.

When I’m not working, I enjoy attending either an early morning yoga class or going for a 5km run. I have also been known to spend a few hours in the evenings or at weekends on the treadmill whilst watching Netflix!

I also love socialising with friends and going on holiday and try to go whenever I get the opportunity.
