Tunbridge Wells doctors face pregnancy death charge

Two doctors have been charged with manslaughter by gross negligence over the death of a Kent primary school teacher during childbirth and the NHS Trust has become the first in the country to be charged with corporate manslaughter.

Frances Cappuccini died at Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury while undergoing an emergency caesarean section.

An international arrest warrant has been issued for one of the doctors, Doctor Nadeem Azeez, who is believed to now be in Pakistan.
