This month the Legal Practice Management magazine looked at the issue of Cloud Based IT systems, speaking to a number of firms, including Fairweathers.
The article addressed the benefits of mobile working, with the magazine quoting from its interview with Tracie as follows:-
“But it’s not just a matter of employees being able to work on the go – cloud IT also allows them to work from home. Tracie Linehan, office manager at Kent Firm Fairweathers Solicitors, says that cloud-facilitated home working allows firms to give employees a better work-life balance and improve recruitment and retention without having productivity suffer.
“Many firms, such as ours, give staff a day at home each week – perhaps because they’ve got child commitments or they enjoy working at home occasionally. Having a cloud-based IT infrastructure means that they can do that and the business doesn’t suffer”
Fairweathers CEO, Nick Fairweather, commented:-
“One of Tracie’s many talents is in IT working and she spends a great deal of time ensuring that our various platforms and applications work efficiently from the various different venues. I am delighted to see that her knowledge in this area is recognised by a national magazine like LPM choosing to contact her on the issue and quote her contribution within this article.”
