Sue Fuller passes exams to become ILFM Associate

We are pleased to announce that our Office Manager, Sue Fuller, has been appointed an Associate with the Institute of Legal and Financial Management after completed the third stage of their professional examinations.

Sue scored well in the exams with a mark of 68%.

She has studied for the accreditation over a number of years, whilst working, and at the second stage, (covering legal accounts), achieved 97% which was the second highest mark of all those sitting the exam at the time.

Nick Fairweather, CEO of Fairweathers Solicitors LLP, commented:-

“We are delighted that Sue has reached the grade of Associate.  She has over 20 years experience in legal accounts and book keeping which, at the firm, she combines with general office management, making her a quite indispensible member of the team.  This is a fantastic achievement for her and all of us here extend our warmest congratulations to her.  It is a considerable accomplishment coming, as it does, alongside her very full commitments at work.  She is not the first of our members of staff to qualify like this whilst working full time and I know how difficult and impressive it is to achieve this.”

 Sue, for her part, commented:-

“I am so pleased to have reached the position of Associate. I have found each stage of the ILFM qualification extremely helpful, especially, perhaps, the third stage with its ‘hands on’ emphasis on some of the finer and more detailed aspects to practice management. It is good to have studied for a qualification so directly relevant to one’s day to day work. I am grateful to Fairweathers for supporting me through the process”.
