Charlotte Joyce - Paralegal

Charlotte Joyce

In Brief

I am a Paralegal at Fairweathers Solicitors LLP, taking up the position from April 2020.

I take all initial client enquiries and present potential cases to the solicitors at our weekly Civil Litigation Meetings.  I assist the solicitors with their cases, in particular helping with requesting and collating medical records.  I also have administrative responsibilities within the firm, especially surrounding marketing.

I am a member of Kent Law Society.

In the past

I graduated from the University of Kent in 2017 with a BA Honours in Business.  I have worked for Fairweathers since late 2018 starting as a Personal Assistant. In this role, I assisted the solicitors in managing their cases and learning how the legal process works – from opening a matter to closing it.  We are a specialist medical negligence firm and I immediately found the work both fascinating and rewarding.  I was encouraged to become more involved in the cases and this has resulted ultimately in me being offered and accepting the Paralegal role which I am really excited about.

In my spare time

I enjoy baking and experimenting with cooking.  I am planning a wedding which is keeping me busy.  I love to travel and explore new places.  But most of all, I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family.
