We are pleased to announce that our CEO, Nick Fairweather, who heads up our Clinical Negligence Department, has today received notification from the Law Society that he has been successful in being re-accredited to remain on its Specialist Clinical Negligence Panel.
Nick has been a panel member since 1999.
Panel membership recognises specialist knowledge and experience with panel members going through a rigorous re-accreditation process every 5 years.
Nick is only one of a very limited number of panel members practising throughout Kent.
We believe he is the longest established panel member in the region.
Nick commented:-
“I am delighted to have been accepted back on to the Law Society’s Specialist Clinical Negligence Panel. As a firm, we have always fully supported accreditation across all our practices areas, as well as in practice management. In the modern litigation era it is absolutely essential for those practising in this area to be true specialists and the panel scheme ensures that such people are properly accredited and identifiable for the public.
The Law Society says, of the scheme:-
“The need for this scheme is for victims. Members will have shown, to the satisfaction of the Law Society, that they have and maintain a high level of knowledge, skills and practice in the area of clinical negligence.”
