Today is graduation day at the University of Kent’s Law School. The graduation ceremony took place at Canterbury Cathedral this morning, followed by Law School prizes and awards being made this afternoon in a marquee on the University grounds which was filled with students, their families and staff.
As in previous years, we were proud to present the Fairweathers annual prize for best contribution to the Kent Law Clinic.
This year it was awarded to Allison Buchanan and Vicky Wan by Fairweathers’ CEO, Nick Fairweather, who commented:-
“It is a pleasure to make this small contribution each year at the awards ceremony. As Chairman of the Law Clinic I know how hard all the students work and I think it is only fitting that the Clinic and Law School recognised particular commitment in this area through this award which we are very happy to support. I wish both Allison and Vicky long, successful and happy legal careers!”
