Gemma qualifies

We are delighted to announce that Gemma Purt, our trainee solicitor, today officially qualifies as a solicitor.During her training contract, Gemma gained vast experienced in family and childcare work, clinical negligence and representing clients before the Mental Health Review Tribunal.

Gemma worked whilst studying for her law degree and then the LPC (the solicitors finals examination).

This has taken a tremendous amount of determination and hard work.

We are delighted that she has agreed to stay with the firm as an Assistant Solicitor.

We believe that she will shortly be appointed to the Law Society’s Specialist Mental Health Review Tribunal Panel. It is a considerable achievement to have reached that level of competence and experience in mental health work whilst still a trainee.

Her future practice is likely to combine mental health work and family work, when we set up a new family department shortly.
