23rd July’19 – We are pleased to report that we have successfully concluded the Lexcel annual audit process again this year.
Lexcel is the Practice Management Standard Quality Mark operated by the Law Society.
This year, upon independent audit, there were no major areas of non – compliance, 9 minor non – compliances, 9 areas of good practise and 5 suggestions for best practise.
Areas of good practise highlighted by the assessor, included the quality of our Annual Business Plan and 6 Month Review, as well as our Business Continuity Planning.
The monthly accounts and income prediction data was also highlighted under good practise as was our GDPR audit data map.
Other aspects to our practise which impressed the auditor included our Risk Register, our Anti-Tax Evasion Policy and our Sanctions Implementation Policy.
There was also praise for our successful move to a paperless office.

quality of our systems would inevitability slide and so it is most worthwhile if arduous process each year which I am grateful for but also pleased to move on from again now and get back to fee earning work!”.
