01.03.07 - Accident at work victim’s claim settled for over £260,000

Darren Tamplin has secured a settlement for his client who suffered both physical and psychological injuries as a result of an accident at work. The client who worked for national construction company, Amec, was injured whilst working on a tunnelling project. Following a lengthy wait whilst a parallel criminal prosecution against the company was brought, Darren’s client said that he was pleased that his case had concluded successfully.

Darren said:

”I am extremely happy for my client that his case which was undoubtedly one of the most difficult accident at work cases that I have dealt with was finally settled for a sum in excess of £260,000. My sincere hope is that my client who was psychologically traumatised by his accident can now begin to move on with his life and look to the future rather than focusing on his accident and his resulting disability.”

If you or someone you know has been injured in an accident at work please do not hesitate to contact us to investigate a potential claim.
