Rebecca Fairweather

In brief

I work part time as the Firm’s Account’s Manager and became a member of the LLP in August 2016.  I work along side my husband Nick who is CEO and my sister Abigail who is the Financial Controller

In past

I started working for Fairweathers in December 2007 as an Accounts Assistant.

Since then my working hours and responsibilities have increased to now becoming the Accounts Manager.

I worked previously in recruitment and Personnel for William Hill the bookmakers for many years until I left in 1997 to start a family.

I attended evening classes at Canterbury College in 2006 to train to become a hairdresser and qualified in April 2008.

Work

I am responsible for the day to day financial operation of the LLP including raising bills, credit control and producing management reports.

I am also responsible for managing all staff personnel records.

I am the firm’s Anti Money Laundering Officer.

Most importantly I am the firm’s Entertainment Secretary and responsible for planning the social events such as the annual firm’s Christmas Party and the Christmas Card!

In my spare time

I have 3 children, although not so small anymore!  The eldest is currently studying at University, with the other two still in secondary education.

I also work part time from my home as a hairdresser which keeps me busy when I’m not in the office.

I enjoy attending a weekly early morning Yoga class and also and regularly go out for a 5km run before work!

I love going on holidays and enjoy organising social events with friends especially going to the theatre.
