Fairweathers Passes its Full Lexcel Re-accreditation Assessment

We are pleased to announce that the Firm has successfully completed a 3 yearly Lexcel re-accreditation.

The assessment took place at our offices on 29th and 30th June, as well as off site, with 4 of our 7 fee earners and 4 of our support staff interviewed.

The assessor noted that the 2016-2017 year was the most successful financially in the firm’s 10 year history.

She also commented positively on the fact that all the interviewees described supportive and close working relationships within the firm.

13 good practice areas were identified including:- the quality of the Firm’s strategic planning; donations to local causes under our Community and Social Responsibility Policy, our detailed Health and Safety Risk Assessments; a significant improvement in cash flow forecasting; and the quality of our Learning and Development Policy incorporating the new Competency Statement for solicitors.

The re-accreditation confirms our Lexcel membership ongoing from 01.06.2017 until 31.05.2020.

Fairweathers LLP’s CEO, Nick Fairweather commented:-
