The team as a whole raised just over £1,000 towards the £14,000 that KM estimate was raised in total by all participating teams.

As well as taking part in the event we were also a main sponsor, the third KM event we have sponsored this year.

We had two teams of 6 competing both finishing in a respectable time of just over 8 minutes.

Rebecca Fairweather, who organised the event, and sponsorship, commented:-

“This was great fun for everyone to get together, with their families, outside of office hours, and take part in a fun but worthwhile event with not too much competitiveness on display in the end.  It is great to take part in an event that is both fun and raised money for worthy causes such as Headway.  Abseiling next!”
